Police in the city of Laurel said they received reports a driver had purchased a bag of popcorn from a store at a local shopping centre before emptying the food out in the parking lot to lure a number of birds in.

Weary residents have begun returning to their homes in fire-ravaged towns as communities in the southeast welcomed more rain overnight.
Firefighters in NSW and Victoria are being helped by more wet weather in some of the hardest-hit areas, with all emergency warnings across both states now downgraded.
While it's a welcome relief from crews and communities, authorities are warning it won't be enough to put out the blazes, as residents begin grappling with the damage.
In South Australia, a flare-up of blazes at Kangaroo Island late on Monday is causing concern for crews on the ground.
Tropical Cyclone Blake is beginning to bring heavy rain and damaging wind in parts of WA.
The Category 1 system is currently just to the north of Broome and moving south, BOM said early on Tuesday morning.
It's WA's first tropical cyclone of the summer.

Police divers and volunteers are continuing their search for the body of Gary Johnson an experienced diver who was diving just off Cull Island and Devil’s Rock when he was attacked by what is believed to be a Great White Shak Monday afternoon.
“Gary was my rock, he was a kind and gentle man, he only ever saw the best in people. He loved diving, he loved squash and he loved his work and most of all he loved his friends and family,” stepdaughter Hannah Milligan said, reading a statement written by Johnson’s wife Karen Milligan.
“We were always aware of the risk and believed if we were attacked by a shark we would just be unlucky.”
So far volunteers and police divers have only managed to recover a few of Johnson’s belongings, including a dive tank and vest, from the ocean floor.
Harvey Weinstein has been hit with fresh charges on the first day of his separate landmark rape trial in the US.
Weinstein has been charged with raping one woman and sexually assaulting another in 2013 over a two-day period. Charges include forcible rape, sexual penetration by use of force, sexual battery by restraint and forcible oral copulation.
“We believe the evidence will show that the defendant used his power and influence to gain access to his victims and then commit violent crimes against them,” Los Angeles District Attorney Jackie Lacey said in a statement.
Previously Weinstein pleaded not guilty to five charges during the New York trial which relate to alleged incidents in 2006 and 2013.
He faces life in prison if convicted on the most serious charge, predatory sexual assault.
More than 80 women have come forward accusing Weinstein of sexual misconduct dating back decades.

The quake struck at 6:32am at a shallow depth of 10km, according to the US Geological Service and is one of the strongest to hit the small US territory.
A flurry of smaller tremors had been felt since December 28, and in the week leading up to major quake, but there have been no immediate reports of casualties, nor has a tsunami threat been reported.
It was also followed by several smaller tremors which included another quake measured at a magnitude 5.0 that struck later on Monday.
Cristiano Ronaldo’s stunning hat-trick helped Juventus to a 4-0 win over visitors Cagliari.
But Juventus’ time at the top of the table was short-lived with Milan claiming a 1-0 win over Napoli to edge out the Serie A champions.
Ronaldo’s first strike during the game at Turin’s Allianz Stadium came in the 49th minute off the back of a Cagliari mistake, he then netted a penalty at the 67-minute mark and closing the scoring late on to seal a comfortable win.
So far Ronaldo has 13 league goals this season and has netted seven in the past five games alone.
