Two Critical After Shooting In Blue Mountains

Two people are fighting for life after a shooting at Blackheath in the NSW Blue Mountains.

Emergency services were called to a home on Connaught Road just before 4.30 am on Friday following reports of shots fired.

Officers arrived to find two men, aged 25 and 31, suffering gunshot wounds to the chest.

The younger had a wound to his lower back, the older to his torso. Both were taken to Westmead Hospital where they remain fighting for life.

NSW Police are now searching for two men who were seen running from the home following the violent altercation.

A crime scene has been set up. It's understood the shooting may have been targeted.
