CCTV Shows Couple Toss Kittens Into Shopping Centre Garden Bed

Security camera footage shows a man and a woman casually abandon the tiny animals at a busy Adelaide shopping centre on Sunday.

In the footage, shared by the RSPCA South Australia, the man appears to pull one kitten out of his pocket and toss it into an indoor garden bed at Westfield Tea Tree Plaza in Adelaide's northeast.

Moments later, the woman can be seen on another security camera handing the man a second kitten from inside her handbag. He returns to the same spot to leave it with the first animal in the plants and they walk away.

A cleaner later discovered the two kittens and alerted centre management, who contacted the RSPCA who is now working to identify the couple involved.
