Three-Year-Old Girl Dies In Hospital From Burns After House Fire
Police say a three-year-old girl badly burnt in a house fire in South Australia last week has died in hospital.
The girl was flown to the Royal Adelaide Hospital on Friday after the blaze at the Port Augusta address.
Two other children were in the home at the time, with a four-year-old boy suffering minor burns and taken to the Port Augusta Hospital.
A neighbour who burst into the building to help save the children was also admitted for treatment after suffering smoke inhalation.
It took fire crews about an hour to bring the blaze under control with the damage bill estimated at $250,000.
The cause is still under investigation.
