Alleged Serial Graffiti Vandal Arrested, 400 Spray Cans Found In His Bedroom
Police have a arrested a Sydney man they allege is responsible for 85 graffiti related offences.
About 7am on Thursday NSW Police officers arrested a a 36-year-old man at a house in western Sydney.
Authorities allege he is responsible for 35 incidents across the north west region of Sydney over the past 18 months.
The dozens of offences following amount to more than $17,000 worth of damage to property.
Upon searching the Toongabbie home, police seized a total of 400 spray cans, clothing items used in connection with the alleged offences, keys, cannabis and graffiti sketches.
The man was charged with 85 offences, including numerous counts of enter running lines, blacken face with intent, malicious damage (graffiti), possess prohibited drug, trespass and goods in custody.
He was refused bail and appeared in Parramatta Local Court on Friday will reappear later this month.
