Man Dies After Falling From Five Storey Building Under Construction
A man has died after falling down the scaffolding of a multi-storey building in Sydney's west.
Emergency services received reports a man, 38, had fallen from the fifth or seventh story of a construction site in Jordan Springs just before 12:30pm on Wednesday.
Police attended the site on Jubilee Drive along with up to seven ambulance crews, including a Careflight helicopter, specialist operations and intensive care paramedics.
A NSW Ambulance spokesman confirmed to 10 daily the 38-year-old was found dead when paramedics arrived.
NSW Police also issued a statement confirming the man's death.
"There are no suspicious circumstances and police are working in conjunction with SafeWork NSW," the statement said.
The NSW Ambulance spokesman said emergency crews, including specialist rescue paramedics, police and Fire & Rescue, are working to retrieve the man's body.
A brief will be prepared for the Coroner.
