It's A Boy! AFLW Star Erin Phillips And Wife Tracy Gahan Welcome A Son

Adelaide Crows superstar Erin Phillips is a mum for the third time, welcoming a new baby boy with her partner.

Drew Chayce Phillips was born on July 31, with his proud mum announcing his arrival on Instagram.

"Welcome to the world beautiful boy!" Phillips, 34, wrote.

"We are so in love with you. X"

Weighing 4.25 kilograms (or just over 9 pounds), the newest addition to the Phillips-Gahan household was born in the US, where the family are spending the AFLW off-season.  Phillips is coach with the Dallas Wings in the WNBA.

Her Adelaide Crows teammates were among the first to congratulate their captain.

"CONGRATULATIONS FAM! So exciting. Love you all!!!" wrote fellow premiership player Ebony Marinoff.

"Yaaaay! Congratulations Flip, Tracy and family! Can't wait to meet him!" said Stevie-Lee Thompson.

"Congratulations guys!!!!" wrote AFLW commentator, and Survivor contestant, Abbey Holmes.

Phillips and Gahan, who got married in the US in 2014, became parents two years ago with the birth of their twins, Blake and Brooklyn.

Phillips is still recovering from a devastating ACL injury she sustained in the Crows' stunning AWFL grand final victory in March. She's undergoing rehab in Dallas, and has previously told The Advertiser she plans to making a comeback to footy in time for the 2020 season.
