Man Under Police Guard After Woman's Body Found In Car
South Australian police have discovered the body of a woman and a man with serious injuries while conducting a welfare check in Adelaide's west.
Police began desperately searching for the pair in and around Kidman Park just before 10.30pm on Sunday night after concerns were raised for their welfare.
The wanted car was discovered by Western District police in Kidman Avenue an hour later.
Inside was the body of a woman and a man with a serious abdomen injury.
He was rushed to the Royal Adelaide Hospital where he will undergo emergency surgery.
Police confirmed to 10daily that he will be questioned by officers in the coming days.
The incident was not random, police said the pair knew each other.
The woman's body will be examined, as investigators piece together exactly what happened.
