Monopoly Releases A Voice-Controlled Banker To Stop You From Cheating

Ever dreamt of a civilised monopoly game? It's about to become a reality.

Hasbro appears to have thrown the banker in jail without passing go and collecting $200, replacing him with an intelligent, voice-activated top hat that ensures even the worst of cheats don't get past it.

This latest addition doesn't involve any cash, players are instead given a virtual bank account that is entirely controlled by the smart assistant known as Mr. Monopoly.

The top hat will manage your money, handle your real estate transactions, pay rent, draw Chance cards and pay your bills.

Apparently "his personality really shines" as he handles all of the transactions.

There are no privacy concerns attached to the new version either because the smart assistant doesn't need access to a wifi network.

"Talk to Mr Monopoly and he responds," the product description reads. "For instance, press your token's button and say 'Buy St. James Place' Mr Monopoly will track the transaction, keeping the game moving".

While the game won't be released on Amazon until June 26, you can pre-order it now for $43.95, which includes shipping.
