The Prime Minister will switch his focus to mobile coverage and regional education as he continues his campaign today. Scott Morrison is vowing to eliminate up to a million square kilometres worth of mobile blackspots and to help support five additional regional study hubs if elected. Opposition Leader Bill Shorten will also be looking for regional votes as he campaigns in Victoria.

The site of the Sari Club, where 88 Australians died in the 2002 Bali bombings, could be saved, with owners offering to sell the site, rather than pushing ahead with a restaurant development. Perth-based group, Bali Peace Park Association, wants to create a memorial park at the site, but owners are now asking for $4.9 million for the land.

The families of eight people, including two Australians, killed in the London Bridge terror attack, are expecting to learn more about their loved one’s death as an inquest begins. Sara Zelenak, 21, and Kirsty Boden, 28, were killed in a van and knife attack in June 2017. The inquest will start at the Old Bailey in London later today and will run for about eight weeks.

A heartbroken mother is pleading with parents to pay attention to what their children look at on social media, as she prepares for the death of her son who was injured while trying to replicate an online challenge. Mason Bogard fell unconscious on Wednesday while participating in a 'choking challenge' at an Indiana home. “It’s supposed to create a type of high," his mother Joann Jackson Bogard wrote on Facebook on Monday. "Unfortunately, it has taken the lives of many young people too early and it will take our precious Mason.” The teen's organs will be donated today, to help save the lives of six people.


The U.S. President’s former personal lawyer, Michael Cohen, has arrived at a prison outside New York City to begin a three-year sentence. He took one final swing at Donald Trump before being locked up, saying he hopes the country "will be without xenophobia, injustice and lies" by the time he is released.
