Teenager Charged Over Multiple ‘Up-Skirting’ Offences In Bondi

Police have charged a man over several alleged ‘up-skirting’ offences in Sydney’s east.

On Friday, a 58-year-old woman who was working at a premises on Bondi Road, Bondi, reported an incident where a man approached her from behind and used a mobile phone to film up her dress.

Officers from Eastern Suburbs Police Area Command commenced an investigation.

On Friday afternoon,  authorities attended a home in Woollahra and arrested an 18-year-old man.

A mobile phone seized at the address was examined and numerous videos were located of ‘up skirting’ offences against eight unknown victims.

A small amount of cannabis was also located at the address.

The man was charged with five counts of filming person’s private parts without consent and nine counts of intentionally recording inmate image without consent as well as possessing a prohibited drug.

He was granted conditional bail and will appear in court later this month.
