An international human rights barrister who launched into a drunken racist tirade after being denied a fourth bottle of wine on an Air India flight has been jailed for six months. Simone Burns, 50, called staff "Indian money-grabbing c**ts" before spitting at one flight attendant and smoking in the toilet during a nine-hour trip from Mumbai to London in November. She pleaded guilty to a number of offences, including assault, last month.
