Man Stabbed Multiple Times At Convenience Store

A man is fighting for his life after he was stabbed multiple times at a convenience store on the NSW Central Coast. 

Emergency services were called to a store on Warner Avenue and Levitt Street in Wyong about 9:25am on Tuesday.

Police were told at least two people entered the store where an "altercation" ensued, leaving the man, believed to be in his 40s, with multiple stab wounds.

Paramedics treated him at the scene before he was airlifted to Royal North Shore Hospital in a critical condition.

His attackers fled the scene on foot and remain on the run.

Police are expected to address the media on Tuesday afternoon.
