A Koala at the Currumbin Wildlife Sanctuary has just earned the title of "world's sexiest koala". The five-year-old marsupial, Rogue, has sent social media into meltdown after he was snapped in a seriously seductive pose. The Sanctuary has responded to the viral image posting on Facebook that they are "working hard to ensure that he remains humble and doesn’t lose his Aussie larrikin charm".
As Labor and the Unions push for a hike to the minimum wage, restaurant and café owners have called for a freeze. Restaurant and Catering Australia, which represents 45,000 businesses nationally, asked the Fair Work Commission not to grant an increase this year given the financial pressures on employers, according to The Australian.
Facebook, Instagram and WhatsApp suffered global outages on Thursday morning. Thousands were left unable to send messages and refresh their feeds. It's not clear if the outages are connected but the issues all began at the same time. An investigation is underway.
