Strong winds and huge waves have hit the Queensland coast as Cyclone Oma moves in. The category two storm is expected to cause dangerous surf conditions and storms over the weekend. A 19-year-old woman has spoken out after trolls repeatedly called her 62-year-old husband a 'child snatcher'. Samantha Simpson and husband JR met through mutual friends when she was 18, and married after one year together. a few years ago and married after one year together. Now, the pair are planning on starting a family, but say they are sick of the abuse and judgement of others.

"When we are out in public, we have strangers mistaking us for granddad and granddaughter all of the time and it can really upset me," Simpson told Metro.

"But it’s even worse when people call JR a ‘child snatcher’ or a ‘paedophile’ when they see us hold hands or kiss in public. There’s not a moment when we are out and about that someone doesn’t make a comment about our relationship, and it’s just exhausting."

One person is dead and another injured after a car and caravan flipped on a busy Sydney road. The caravan was travelling on the Hume Highway in Sydney’s south-west on Thursday afternoon when it jack-knifed and rolled. The male driver died at the scene and his female passenger was taken to Liverpool hospital for treatment.
