Man Drowns At Sydney's Popular Clovelly Beach
A 34-year-old man has drowned at a popular beach in Sydney's eastern suburbs on New Year's Day.
Police told 10 daily the man was pulled unconscious from the water at Clovelly Beach about 2pm.
A doctor who was at the beach attempted to resuscitate him, however he sadly did not respond to CPR or the use of a defibrillator to restart his heart.
Police confirmed the man had died shortly after 3pm.
A report will be prepared for the Coroner.
