Young Dad Dies In Bali, Family Desperately Need Money To Bring His Body Home
A young father from Perth has died during a family trip on the Indonesian island of Bali, and now the family is desperately trying to bring him home.
Chris Taylor, his wife Ebony and their two young boys were having the time of their lives in Bali when, in a tragic twist of events, the new dad died suddenly.
Details have not yet been released on how he died.
The Perth family is now desperately trying to bring Taylor, who was described as a “great bloke” and a “beautiful soul”, after he died on the island on December 27.
They have set up a GoFund Me Page, 'Help bring Chris home', with a $15,000 goal.
"It's with a shattered heart that we have to make this post. Chris Taylor tragically and unfairly passed away in Bali on 27 December. We don't have many details to share," the page said.
"Ebony and the boys are still there.
"Unfortunately their travel insurance won't adequately cover accidental death or repatriation."
So far, more than $32,000 has been raised by over 270 people in one day.
Taylor is one of two Perth men who have died while on separate family holidays in Bali, with both deaths happening on Thursday.
Ashok Joshi, 69, drowned at Seminyak while holidaying with his wife and family.
Joshi had arrived earlier the same day for a holiday with his wife, son and daughter-in-law, and their family.
The Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade confirmed it was providing consular assistance to the families of two Australian men in Bali.
