Pink And Red Gowns Are Back In A Big Way On The 2020 Oscars Red Carpet

As the stars take to the red carpet, we're getting flashbacks to the 2019 Emmys.

Celebs including Mandy Moore and Marisa Tomei lead the way in a red and pink colour combo trend.

And it seems the bright colours choices have flowed on through the 2020 awards season and onto the Oscars red carpet.

America Ferrera, 35, wore a red gown paired with a delicate gold head piece as she cradled her baby bump on the red carpet while posing next to her husband, Ryan Piers Williams.

The actress announced her second pregnancy in December last year on Instagram, writing: “Welcoming Baby #2 in 2020! Happy New Year from our wild and growing bunch.”

The Race Is On To Dress Hollywood's Biggest Stars For The Oscars

Designers are hard at work to get their gowns red carpet ready for big name celebrities heading to Hollywood's 'night of nights', the Academy Awards.

The red and pink trend also seems to be on that's been favoured by all age groups.

10-year-old Julia Butters, who played Trudi Fraser in Quentin Tarantino's 'Once Upon a Time in Hollywood', wore a Barbie pink outfit to mark her Oscars debut.

And what do you carry in your handbag when you're 10? A turkey sandwich according to Julia, who said: "I put a sandwich in my bag.... Sometimes the food here is not for me."

Points for preparation Julia.
