'It's Probably Worth $150,000': The Most Expensive Luxury Item Roxy Jacenko Owns
All you have to do is take a brief scroll of Roxy Jacenko's Instagram to know she has expensive taste.
From designer clothes and fancy handbags to diamond jewellery, it's all there. Even her dog Oreo wears Burberry. No, we're not joking.
But one thing Roxy Jacenko isn't is apologetic. She doesn't apologise for how much money she spends or her materialism and the reason why is simple: she worked hard for it.
"I don't think it's anyone else's business [how much she spends]. And it goes the same with parenting. I think you do what's right for you," Roxy told 10 daily.
"As long as you live within your means, do what you wish, you know? Everyone has different wants and desires in life."
Roxy said that for her, these greatest desires are homes, cars and 'nice handbags'.
"It is what it is like and I don't really care. If I cared about what everyone thought, I'd probably be in a corner crying every day," she said.
Do I have rules? No, I don't. You know what, don't you buy what you can afford. I think that's been one of my main rules.
Roxy makes sure to note that she doesn't think it's a good idea for anyone to get into debt to try and portray the allusion that they lead a particular type of lifestyle.
"I mean, I'm not saying you should get yourself into debt. The only debt you should have is if it's for a home, you know, a mortgage," she told 10 daily.
"There's nothing worse and I've had staff who've gotten themselves into credit card debt to try and live this particular life.
"And it's always a mistake because getting out of that debt is very hard, but it's also good to have a bit of debt because it makes you work harder."
Given her love of homes, cars and expensive handbags, this is where the PR queen obviously spends most of her money. But just how expensive is her most valuable handbag exactly?
"It would be the crocodile skin Birkin handbag. But that will appreciate. It's probably worth $150,000 now. Well, I keep telling myself that and I don't use it," she explained.
"But the thing is, it's like number plates. You buy things like that because they will appreciate. Also, I always wanted it and when you've worked so hard and there's something that you really want, buy it."
And Roxy definitely does just that.
