Ellie Goulding Tied The Knot And It Looked Just Like A Royal Wedding
Ellie Goulding has married her art dealer boyfriend Caspar Jopling in front of guests including Sienna Miller, Katy Perry and Orlando Bloom.
The "Love Me Like You Do" singer's big day was an extremely British affair -- looking like a cross between a royal occasion and the set of 'Four Weddings And A Funeral'.
The couple wed at York Minister, a gothic cathedral that's been around since the 7th century and then headed to one of Britain's finest stately homes -- Howard Castle -- for their reception, the BBC reports.
Just like wellwishers lined the streets of Windsor for Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's nuptials, hundreds of bystanders gathered outside the cathedral to catch a glimpse of Ellie and Caspar's wedding party -- and their very famous guests.
Princesses Beatrice and Eugenie were present with mum Fergie (Sarah, Duchess of York) along with Sienna Miller, Katy Perry, Orlando Bloom, and James Blunt.
The pop singer enlisted Natasha Ramsay-Levi from fashion house Chloé to design the silk double crêpe gown complete with hand-embroidered roses, white glass beads, and a silk radzimir petticoat underneath, E! reports.
We honestly didn't even know what ~radzimir~ was until today, but it's apparently a fabric that was once used for mourning clothes and seems incredibly fancy.
The gown took an astonishing 640 hours to make -- which is equivalent to watching every episode of 'The Simpsons' then hitting rewind and watching them all again.
The only non-British element of the whole day? Instead of opting for a Rolls Royce or an MG -- the couple set off for their reception in an old blue Volkswagen Kombi van.
