'It's Very Surreal': 'The Bachelor' Star Cassandra's Special Tie To Carrie Bickmore

Cassandra might have gone home on Thursday night's episode of 'The Bachelor' but what she's returning home to is a different type of love.

When Matt's best friend Kate raised concerns that jewellery designer Cassandra was more focused on expanding her business rather than settling down, the 33-year-old failed to receive a rose during Thursday night's ceremony.

Speaking to 10 daily, Cassandra said her business was a big part of the reason she thinks she is still single. "I have been quite focused on my career and building my jewellery business," she said.

Now that she has exited the Bachelor mansion and with her self-titled jewellery brand booming, it's back to business as usual for the South Australian local.

Unlike the other women, Cassandra only wore her own jewellery while appearing on the show.

"Before I went in I went through my studio and picked a variety of ones often used for red carpet events," she told 10 daily.

Cassandra's jewellery has also been worn by some big Australian and international celebrities, with her standouts being Carrie Bickmore, Sam Armytage Jesinta Campbell, Samantha Jade and Jordin Sparks.

"They have all worn various pieces of my jewellery line, which is very surreal!" she said. "Carrie was definitely a standout, though -- she wore my Flying Feather earrings when she won the Gold Logie."

As well as the gorgeous pieces worn by the stars, Cassandra also specialises in engagement rings, explaining WAG Belle Grey, wife of Robbie Grey's engagement ring was designed by her.

"I have a lot of WAGs!" she told 10 daily of her clientele. "Belle Grey, wife of Robbie Grey, hers was by me and she is a regular client of mine."

Cassandra's jewellery styling tips

Cassandra said if you're wearing your hair in an up-do or have a red carpet event, you can't go past statement earrings.

"I also love anything with bling -- something sparkling on your finger like a big beautiful ring looks amazing in dim lighting," she told 10 daily.

"I love wearing rings, especially since I’m Italian so I’m always talking with my hands."

What's the biggest jewellery trend right now?

Cassandra explained bar necklaces are super popular at the moment.

"Often with a husband or children’s name on it," she added.

"I like the shorter ones that sit around the collarbone because you can shower with it and wear it to bed and all that."

What about engagement rings?

Cassandra said currently it's all about -- wait for it -- oval diamonds and three stone rings.

So there you have it, you heard it here first.
