This Guy's Dating Survival Guide Based On Women's Nails Has Been Viewed 4 Million Times
A 26-year-old man from California has shared his dating survival guide titled "Nails at First Sight" and it's proving very popular online.
Meet Marwan Alteir aka Rocky. He's a 26-year-old from Huntington Beach California and he's got this dating thing all figured out.
How, you ask? Well, he's successfully cracked the manicure code. As in, he's figured out what women's nails say about them -- and their dating habits.
So confident is he in his research and classification efforts he's published his findings in a book. And by book, we mean an A4 arch-level folder, but it's a book none the less.
The six-page tome titled Nails at First Sight is dedicated to Rocky's "bros" to help them find their dream girl -- all by looking at their manicure.
"I created this research to protect my bros around the world. They need to know what they’re getting into," he told BuzzFeed News after tweeting a now-viral video on February 26.
Tired of chasing the wrong girl? Just found out your girl is psycho? Want to know the signs before making that investment? My book “Nails At First Sight” will help you.
The guide has been a labour of love for Rocky who began compiling data back in 2018.
"Research was conducted with 20 male friends and 10 male strangers. I showed each of them diagrams and images. If more than one guy said the same thing about a particular nail, it would go on the book," he explained.
Without further ado here are Rocky's words of wisdom.
Rocky starts us out nice and easy with a quick guide to identifying which nail polish colours are "safe" -- and which require health and/or life insurance before approaching.
Yellow nails are a red flag, so to speak.
Next, we move on to the shape of the nail -- stiletto, Mountainpeak and Arrowhead nails should all be avoided.
Also -- who knew there were so many different nail shapes out there!
Rocky wraps up our nail journey by classifying nail length -- "regular," "medium" and "long" -- in terms of "Health," "Strength" and "Weapons" and oh wait -- are we in a video game?
Needless to say, Twitter is absolutely screaming right now.
Some people love Rocky's work and are recommending him for a doctorate and a Nobel Peace Prize -- others want his genius to be published around the world.
Quite a few women have begun replying to Rocky's original tweet with snaps of their own nails and ohhh boy things got sassy.
Want to get your hands on your very own copy of Nails at First Sight?
Oh -- and get ready for a sequel.
