Meghan Markle Somehow Managed To Make Cow-Print PVC Heels Look Good
The Duchess stepped out today wearing some of the quirkiest-looking shoes on God's green earth ... and boy did she rock them.
The AU$887 shoes by Italian designer Gianvito Rossi feature an imitation cow-hide print on the toe and heel and transparent sides.
The style was a major detour from the Duchess' usual go-to black or nude pumps. Markle completed her look with a pair of drop earrings from ethical jewellery designer Kimai.
The 37-year-old was visiting the London branch of Smart Works, an organisation that helps women who have been out of the workforce for some time prepare for job interviews.
The visit coincided with an announcement from Kensington Palace that Meghan has taken on two honorary roles which were previously held by the Queen. They are with the National Theatre and Association of Commonwealth Universities.
But back to those shoes.
As it stands they're not currently available to buy on the Gianvito Rossi website, but that doesn't mean you can't find a very similar-looking pair that won't leave you completely and utterly broke.
Here are some of our favourites.
Perfect if you're looking to make like Megs and combine animal print with PVC.
Perfect if you want to take the look from work-to-night.
Perfect if you're keen to try out the trend but still want to keep things on the conservative side.
Perfect if you're an all-or-nothing kinda person and want to fully embrace the style.
Perfect if you want to add a pop of colour to the look.
