Pantene's New Spokesperson Is A Baby

The '50s gave us Marilyn Monroe's platinum curls, while the '60s gave us The Twiggy before the '90s gave us The Rachel.

Now a new contender for the most iconic hairstyle of all time has entered the ring. Well, crawled into it, actually.

Meet Baby Chanco. And no, that's not a rap name -- Chanco is an actual baby and has just been named as the new face of haircare brand Pantene.

Baby Chanco, thanks to her mother, Mami Kano, first hit the spotlight thanks to her 'hair diary' Instagram page.

Despite only being on earth for one year, Chanco has already amassed more followers than many of us will ever manage to do in our lifetime.

Baby Chanco's big break came after People magazine wrote that she deserved her own Pantene ad. Clearly, somebody at Pantene was reading, because not lot after the article came out she was snapped up.

Yoshiaki Okura, who is the P&G Japan Hair Care associate brand director, told People that they "went straight to her mother because Chanco’s personality and special character matches our image for women we want to support."

Baby Chanco's mother, Mami, told People she was completely blown away by the reaction to her daughter's unique quiff.

"I’m so surprised ... but also very proud of the praise from many countries," she said.

True hair goals right there.
