The 'Sisterhood' Behind The Scenes At The Victoria's Secret Fashion Show

Angels Barbara Palvin, Georgia Fowler -- and Aussie Alannah Walton -- spill on their backstage bond.

For all the glitz, glam and beaming faces -- not to mention bangin' bods -- the annual Victoria's Secret Fashion Show does have a side that we don't often see, which came to light in a video released by the mega-brand.

Almost every single one of the Angels featured in the clip on the VS YouTube page, called Angels Road To The Runway 2018: Episode 1 – More Than A Runway, revealed how freakin' nervous they get before the big show.

Sure, on the runway they look like fierce, confident babes sporting some seriously sexy outfits, but before they step out on the night it's a bit of a different story.

The models, not to mention everyone behind the scenes, put in so much work and preparation for the televised event which is nicknamed the 'Superbowl of fashion,' and for good reason.

Millions tune in to watch the Angels do their thing -- which this year will be broadcast on Channel 10 at 9.30 on Monday, December 3 -- so there's a certain amount of pressure.

Hungarian stunner -- and Dylan Sprouse's bae -- Barbara Palvin called the lead up "nerve-wracking," and said being around all the other equally incredible models isn't easy.

"You really have to be comfortable to walk into that room and like, kill it."

Brit beauty Leomie Anderson remembered "shaking" during her casting back in 2015 -- her third attempt -- but obviously made a lasting impression.

Even long-time Angel Sui He, from China, admits she's not immune. "This is my eighth year but I'm still nervous! But I'm really enjoying every moment."

So how do these gorgeous gals shake off the pre-show jitters?

American Alanna Arrington likes to vibe off the show's musical performers, which have included Rihanna, Lady Gaga and Justin Bieber in the past.

She reflected on encountering Bruno Mars at her first show in 2016 and thinking, "He's puttin' on a show? Well, I have to put on a show."

But the Angels draw most strength and encouragement from their bond with one another.

It might sound a bit cheesy -- or even forced -- but these women really are friends, something which surprises many including relative newbie Georgia Fowler.

Kiwi-born Fowler remembered being taken aback at her debut show by the camaraderie between all the models, no matter how experienced or famous they were.

"I was amazed at my first show that even the veterans were so inviting and kind," she said.

Aussie first-timer Alannah Walton found being around her fellow Angels "so empowering."

"They embody something that a young girl like myself really wanted to be," she said.

"There's totally a sisterhood," was UK model Aiden Curtiss' take.

"You're all cheerleaders for each other," said Arrington.

It comes down to the fact that, as He said, it doesn't matter if you've donned those wings near 10 times before, you still get nervy.

"We're all going through the same thing," Austrian beauty Nadine Leopold explained.

"Everyone wants to stick together and have a good time."

And from the looks of the photos, a good time was certainly had.

Arrington likened it to an out of body experience, saying, "You're kinda like, 'Did I really do that? I really did that!'"

Yeah girl, ya did.
