This Deodorant Has A 12,000-Person Waitlist
Because having bad B.O can really be the pits.
If you’ve ever been stuck on a crowded bus or train right in the middle of summer, you’ll know just vital the right deodorant is.
But despite how often we wear it (daily, hopefully) most of us pay little notice as to what exactly we’re layering onto our skin.
Enter Megababe – the cult indie brand whose all-natural deodorant Rosy Pits has become so popular, it’s now got a 12,000 person waitlist.
No, those zeros aren’t a typo.
Founder Katie Sturino, also known for the insanely clever @the12ishstyle Instagram account, worked for more than a year to create Rosy Pits’ chemical and additive free formula.
Instead of following the traditional method of using aluminium to block sweat ducts, Megababe’s Rosy Pits is made with a blend of natural ingredients, including sage and green tea, which helps prevent odour-causing bacteria from forming on the skin.
The formula is also free from baking power (another ingredient commonly used in most deodorants), alcohol and paraben.
But there is one small caveat. Megababe warns customers to give themselves a grace period of at least “two weeks” to allow their body to adjust to the chemical free combination.
