Hilary Swank's Stylish Woodland Wedding

It was straight out of a magazine ... literally.

Actor Hilary Swank just got hitched to her beau, social venture entrepreneur Philip Schneider, in a fairy tale woodland ceremony in California and we literally cannot stop talking about her incredible choice in wedding gown.

Swank, 44, opted for a simply breathtaking Elie Saab Couture dress for the August 21 nuptials, telling VOGUE, "It was everything I imagined and more.”

Naturally, the fashion tome had the inside word on the gown, which reportedly took seven people -- including the head of the Elie Saab atelier themselves -- about 150 hours to create.

That sounds about right, considering the dress comprised 25 metres of Chantilly lace, eight metres of silk chiffon, and six metres of organza silk.

Two-and-a-half days alone were focused exclusively on the embroidery, according to VOGUE, and you can see why. It's exquisite.

The bride paired her gown with a pair of Christian Louboutin custom-designed wedding shoes. The ankle-tie heels featured a light blue insole, making them double as Swank's 'something blue.'

After saying their "I do's" the newlyweds donned custom-embroidered Levi's denim jackets complete with their cute couple name "Phillary" (making it easy for gossip mags everwhere) and what looks like a hummingbird. Very edgy-chic. Brides-to-be everywhere, take note.

At the reception, the pair slipped into something a little more comfortable -- but still stunning as heck -- designed by Maria Grazia Chiuri of Dior for a surprise tap dance performance.

“[Chiuri] designed an exquisite dance dress that perfectly reflected the look I was after," Swank shared with VOGUE. Louboutin stepped up once again and crafted not only the bride's tap shoes but also the groom's.
