Meghan's Latest Look Is A Subtle Throwback To Her Wedding
Can you pick it?
Our girl Meghan Markle's fairy tale wedding to Prince Harry must still be on her mind -- who can blame her? -- because the stylish Duchess has been opting for outfits that give a subtle hint to her divine Givenchy gown of late.
Case in point, her latest look for an event marking the centenary of the RAF at Westminster Abbey in London on July 10.
Her little black Dior number was effortlessly classy with its nipped-in waist and demure just-below-the-knee hem, but it was the top half of the dress that captured our attention.
The long sleeve and that boat-neck neckline -- one of Meghan's fave styles -- were two things that stood out as clear homages to the Clare Waight Keller-designed wedding gown she wore for her May 19 nuptials.
Even Her Highness' shoes -- powder-pink pumps -- were reminiscent of the pointed Givenchy pair she stepped out in on her big day. Her choice of headwear -- a Stephen Jones fascinator -- is a long way from her almost five-metre-long bridal veil but suited her ensemble perfectly.
The timing of her sartorial throwback is pretty on point, as it's almost been two months to the day since she tied the knot with Britain's most eligible royal bachelor. Sigh.
Here's hoping we see more #TBTs to the couples' big day -- are more adorable as-yet-unseen wedding portraits too much to ask, guys? -- but for now we'll just have to content ourselves with mooning over these two who are clearly still smitten.
