Buddy Franklin Reveals Nickname For Newborn Daughter
The AFL player shared a sweet moment with her newborn daughter, who he welcomed with wife Jesinta Franklin just over a week ago.
Lance 'Buddy' Franklin has shared the first photo of his baby girl, Tullulah, on his Instagram account -- revealing the cute nickname he's given her.
"Lulu and I are all set for the AFL Origin game tonight, go the All- Stars," he wrote along with a photo of his daughter wrapped in a Hermes baby blanket.
Jesinta commented on the adorable picture with two heart-eyed emojis, while other parents were quick to comment on their clean white couch.
"Good luck with that white couch when the kids grow up!" joked one.
That lounge is going to change in no time.
The nickname comes after there was some confusion over the spelling of Tullulah's name, being widely spelled incorrectly across a number of publications.
The famous pair chose to share the exciting news through their spokesperson, who told The Daily Telegraph: “Jesinta and Lance are thrilled to announce the arrival of their beautiful baby daughter, Tullulah Franklin."
“They are both absolutely besotted with her."
The name of their daughter, which means 'leaping water', was predominantly spelled with the letter 'A' as its second letter instead of the letter 'U', having been spelled 'Tallulah' instead of 'Tullulah'.
A number of news bulletins further used the incorrect spelling of the name as well as fans sharing their congratulations online.
"Isn’t her name Tahlula?" a follower questioned on Buddy's photo.
"It's Tullulah," another wrote, correcting the spelling.
Jesinta shared a message of thanks to friends and fans on Instagram on Friday evening for their kind words on the arrival of the pair's first child.
“Thank you for all of the beautiful messages we have received upon the arrival of our precious daughter Tullulah,” she wrote.
“She is our forever angel and we are grateful for all of the love coming our way.”
