A Dating App For People With Small Penises Already Has 28,000 'Members'
A new app called Dinky One is aiming to prove that size doesn't matter.
The dating app, which is now available worldwide, is supposed to cut through the awkward conversation of size and is aimed at women who generally prefer men with smaller penises.
"Just as there are men that are smaller than average, there are women who are also smaller than average. They can often find sexual intercourse painful," the website read.
"There are also women who have a fetish interest in small guys, often they play a dominant role."
The founder of Dinky One, which has seen a surge in users since it's launch, said his aim was to normalise the array of sizes when it comes to people and their nether regions.
"There’s pressure on all genders to conform to ideals set by TV, film and even porn,” Dinky One founder David Minns told Pink News.
“The adult entertainment industry only casts males with well over average-sized penises. In addition, adverts on major porn sites advertise dubious products to increase penis size."
Minns noted this makes men feel even more self conscious, wanting them to instead feel comfortable with their size on his platform.
Some men are big, some average and some below average. Dinky One lets smaller men date people outside their circle of friends with the safety that everyone using the site is fully aware.
The app currently has about 28,000 users, being broken down into 27 percent females, 71 percent male and 2 percent trans, based on what they have identified as when signing up to the platform.
According to their website, Dinky One is open to males, females and transgender people, as well as those who identify with any sexuality.
"Users are free to define their identity how best suits them," with those who opt in being able to choose out of 24 gender identities.
The app promotes it has no barriers to communication and does not have a swiping feature. That means if you see someone you like, you can contact them straight away.
They also have a high level of security, where photos are optional, they do not ask for a date of birth and blocking is easy. Dinky One also conducts personal data cleaning where profiles that are inactive for 30 days are removed.
