Australia's Most-Searched Porn In 2019 Revealed

Warning: NSFW. Pornhub has released its 2019 Year in Review, and yep -- the lesbians have done it again.

Every year the popular pornography website issues a report that details the search habits of its global users.

Loaded with stats and demographics, the Year in Review provides a comprehensive look at what exactly it is that gets Aussies going.

This year, the adult entertainment site garnered an astonishing 42 billion visits, that's 115 million people per day. To break it down, that's almost five times the size of Australia's entire population on the one website. Every. Single. Day.

For the second year running, 'lesbian' has been crowned Australia's most popular porn category. 'Hentai' rose two positions to take out the second spot.

'Chinese' scaled the ranks by a whopping 74 spots, landing number eight. Whereas 'step mom' and 'anal' dropped four spots respectively.

Here are Australia's top 12 favourite porn categories:

  1. Lesbian
  2. Hentai
  3. Milf
  4. Asian
  5. Massage
  6. Threesome
  7. Japanese
  8. Chinese
  9. Step Mom
  10. Joi
  11. Anal
  12. Public

Statisticians crunched the numbers on a range of different demographics, including gender.

They found that, compared to other countries, Australian women are 107 percent more likely to view ‘Asian’ videos, 88 percent more into ‘Rough Sex’ and 37 percent more into ‘Gangbang’.

Overall, female porn consumption is on the rise. This year, 32 percent of Pornhub's global visitors were women, with 'Lesbian' coming out the favourite for all the women of the world.

There are a number of categories that are significantly more popular with women than they are men. These include 'P***y Licking' (260 percent more women), 'Solo Male' (222 percent), 'Fingering' (183 percent), and 'Romantic' (130 percent).

Interestingly, of the 10 pornstars searched most by women, four are strictly gay male performers.

Overall, Pornhub assessed a range of pop culture patterns and worldwide events to establish their 'Searches that Defined 2019' list.

The Bald Facts On Why Women Are Rethinking Laser Hair Removal

It's been 20 years since laser hair removal was approved by the government for use in suburban salons. Two decades later, many men and women have far less hairy bodies, but some feel locked into a hair fad they can't undo.

The list includes a number of quirky additions like 'Alien' (to mark the Area 51 meme), 'Belle Delphine (the 'gamer girl' who sold her bathwater), and POV (to represent the growing link between sex and technology).

'Amateur' was named the search that defined the year. According to the report, the adult industry is seeing a surge in interest for depictions of 'real' sex, as opposed to high production videos.

This year alone, a record breaking 6.83 million new videos were uploaded to the site. Across the board, user stats are on the rise and the upward trend is only expected to continue.

Whatever the next decade has in store, it's likely to be a raunchy few years.
