Brandi Cyrus Breaks Silence On Liam And Miley's Split
Brandi Cyrus has spoken up about her sister's split with husband Liam Hemsworth.
Brandi, who joined both Miley and Kaitlynn Carter on holiday in Italy recently, addressed the high-profile separation on her podcast 'Your Favourite Thing' with co-host Wells Adams.
The 32-year-old explained that she's providing support for little sister Miley by spending quality time with the "Cattitude" singer.
“It’s not my business to talk about and it’s nothing anything of mine to tell. There’s nothing I can really say. I just, I’m here for her, obviously, and I’ve been spending a lot of time with her,” Brandi explained.
“When she’s ready to talk about it or whatever, then she will.”
Brandi had previously addressed her sister and brother-in-law's split in a more cryptic way alongside a photo of her posing in a bikini next to Lake Como.
I’ve learned that life sometimes takes us through seasons when we cannot understand why things have to hurt so much, or be so hard, but all we can do is trust that there is purpose in everything, even the darkness... and in time everything will make sense, and all of that purpose will be revealed when the time is right, and we will be stronger and better for it.
It's been less than a week since Miley and Liam released a joint statement announcing their separation through People magazine, commenting that they were focusing on their "themselves and careers".
The former couple has been dealing with the breakup in quite different ways with Miley posting a series of Instagram pics from her "Hot Girl Summer" vacation in Italy. She was also papped having a smooch with Brody Jenner's ex-wife, Kaitlynn Carter.
Liam, however, has been a bit more low key, hanging out with his brother Chris Hemsworth's family in Byron Bay, NSW.
The 'Hunger Games' actor uploaded a photo of a sunset with a caption that briefly addressed the split.
Hemsworth noted that "Miley and I have recently separated and I wish her nothing but health and happiness going forward".
He added that it was "a private matter" and that he wouldn't be speaking to media about the split.
