Harry Rehearsed His Invictus Speech In Front Of Meghan

Prince Harry officially opened the Invictus Games last night -- and had a little help from Meghan during the dress rehearsal for his speech.

Kensington Palace has uploaded a very sweet behind the scenes moment of Harry on stage in front of the Opera House just hours before the event's opening ceremony.

The hundreds of seats on the foreshore are completely empty -- except for one.

Harry's biggest fan and speech consultant, Meghan, is pictured in the front row, as the Prince practised for the big night.

Prince Harry gave a shoutout to his new wife and their soon-to-be-born baby when he delivered his speech in front of the Invictus crowd.

"I have been so proud to be able to introduce my wife to you and we have been so happy to be able to celebrate the personal joy of our newest addition with you all," he said.

The Duke of Sussex also challenged the crowd of Aussies to a mission -- to cheer on the Invictus competitors and "share their stories".

The Invictus Games were created in 2014 by Prince Harry for wounded, injured and ill service members and veterans.

"It’s your responsibility to make sure your children know how amazing these guys and girls really are," he said of the 500 competitors from 18 countries at the Games this year.

"Be inspired. Get excited. Allow the example of service and determination you will see, to change something big or small in your own lives."
