'She Does Voice-Overs': Prince Harry Caught On Camera Talking To Disney CEO

A hug from Beyoncé was powerful enough to conceal one of the biggest shake-ups in royal history.

When Queen Bey met Duchess Megs on the 'Lion King' red carpet last July, the internet went into overdrive.

Little did we know that this hugely publicised display was actually distracting us from a fundamental moment in royal history.

It was reported on Saturday that Meghan Markle is set to voice a project for Disney, days after the Duke and Duchess of Sussex announced they would be stepping back as senior royals.

Now, it appears Prince Harry may have been instrumental in orchestrating this acting opportunity.

Meghan Markle Has Reportedly Inked A Voiceover Deal With Disney

Meghan Markle is reportedly stepping back into the acting world for the first time since becoming a royal.

Footage has emerged of Prince Harry talking to Disney CEO Bob Iger about his wife, spruiking her voice-over skills. An onlooker captured the moment on video where the pair's conversation can be heard.

Prince Harry: "You know she does voice overs?"

Bob Iger: "Oh really? Ahh."

Prince Harry: "Did you know that?"

Bob Iger: "I did not know that."

Prince Harry: "You seem surprised. But yeah, she's really interested."

Bob Iger: "Sure, we'd love to try. That's a great idea."

The exchange went down right beside Meghan who was speaking to Beyoncé and Jay Z.

The trio's conversation was widely reported on at the time, with plenty of video footage detailing what they discussed -- largely parenting advice and their mutual "love" for one another.

Six months later, we are only now realising how important that 'background' chat between Prince Harry and Bob Iger truly was.

On Saturday, The Times of London revealed that Meghan had signed a contract for a voice-over deal with the Walt Disney Company.

The project remains undisclosed, but it has been reported that in lieu of a direct payment to Meghan, Disney will make a donation to Elephants Without Borders, a wildlife charity the royal couple have long been linked to.

This new role is believed to be Meghan's first acting stint since becoming a royal, and the donated funds come as a result of the protocol that royals are not allowed to work for money.

In light of Megxit, where the couple announced they would be working towards achieving "financial independence," this may potentially be only the beginning of Meghan's return to the entertainment industry.
