Chrissy Teigen's Pissed At John Legend's Poor Party Planning, The Texts Prove It

There's nothing quite an entertaining as Chrissy Teigen clapping back on social media.

Except this time, her shade is directed at her husband, John Legend, and his apparent inability to plan anything 'fun' without her help.

Chrissy was so pissed about his actions, she decided to vent. But she didn't just get into a group chat and furiously tell her famous friends about John's failings.

No. She did better. She posted about it on her Twitter account, to a quiet 12 million followers.

Not only did she complain about her husband's actions, she accompanied her message with a screen shot of their text message bickering too.

And we can feel that burn...

It all started when John decided to invite fellow 'The Voice' judges over to his house for a dinner party, with guests including Gwen Stefani, Kelly Clarkson, and Blake Shelton.

Except John didn't think to inform his wife Chrissy that they'd be coming over for dinner to celebrate the season finale of the show. Being a usually well prepared hostess, Chrissy wasn't happy about not knowing they would be entertaining their celeb friends.

Not because she didn't want them there, but because she had no time to prepare anything to entertain them with or, you know, eat.

"I didn’t know tonight was the voice finale. John invited everyone to dinner at the house after and I’m really f**king mad because I didn’t make a f**king FINALE meal," Chrissy tweeted.

"I would have gotten a cake or something too?? Who the f**k does this? You don’t win 'The Voice' then eat short ribs."

While Chrissy's complaints might seem trivial, she said the problem is that John always does this.

"It sounds dumb yes but this is VERY John. I am always in charge of doing the fun, extra sh*t and he has no idea how much I plan normally," she added.

"He’s like 'no it’s fine they just wanna have dinner' but it’s literally the finale of their show??? And I have no ice cream truck."

And for anyone who considered it a 'first world problem' Chrissy wasn't taking that criticism either, responding with: "If you think this is stupid go ahead and tell me what you made when Blake Kelly and Gwen came over to your house."

Point taken.

Chrissy said despite laughing at the situations she's still 'seriously f**cking pissed', as she shared the text message exchange with John to prove it.

It didn't end there, either.

Chrissy was further freaked out by the idea of her guests turning up in their 'show clothes' while she was wearing pyjamas (they were from the SKIMS Cozy Collection thought which aren't cheap, so they couldn't have been that bad).

"If they show up in their show clothes I will absolutely die in my robe," she tweeted.

John tried to rectify the situation by order cake, which Chrissy called 'John's "Solution" Cake', except she had already done the same only making her more, yep, angry.

"Oh my f**cking God I ordered like five milk bar cakes before John’s one cake got here from the SAME place and he thinks he is some f**king hero," Chrissy tweeted.

Despite the chaos, it seems like everything turned out in the end with both Chrissy and John sharing happy snaps from the evening.

Because if it wasn't all okay? We're sure we'd be hearing about it from Chrissy...
