The $5 Aldi Product That's Just Taken Out The Title Of People's Favourite
The supermarket giant asked shoppers to vote on their favourite picks and the people have spoken.
Taking out the top spot in Aldi's People's Picks is a $4.99 bottle of wine. And it should come as no surprise, considering the South Pinot Estate Rose has won a slew of independent awards in previous years.
“Who would have thought that the ever popular Veuve Monsigny Brut Champagne, a steal at $21.99, would have been edged out by another wine?” Aldi said in a statement.
“Yet that’s exactly what happened, with the South Pinot Estate Rosé ($4.99) taking out The People’s Picks in the Alcohol category."
