As news has broken of her split from The Bachelor Matt Agnew, Chelsie has been followed by paparazzi.

And in what appears to be an attempt to stifle negative stories about her breakup appearing online, Chelsie has shared an Instagram story of herself showing a great big smile as she is followed by a man with a camera.

"Forced pap smile," the caption Chelsie shared along with her video reads, which is accompanied by a sad emoji.

In subsequent videos, Chelsie posted a male photographer taking photos of her, as she said, "Oh man there's more. There's more!" and wrote 'FML' as a caption.

Chelsie is mocked by the unnamed photographer, who asks her: "Did you get some good video?"

The photos have subsequently been published by The Daily Mail, in an article with the headline reading: 'The Bachelor's Chelsie McLeod puts on a brave face as she's spotted out in public for the first time after announcing her split from Matt Agnew.'

The article describes Chelsie as 'beaming' and 'warmly smiling' despite her Instagram story exposing how she really felt about being followed.

The attention comes after Matt Agnew and Chelsie McLeod shared the news they had broken up on their Instagram accounts on Sunday.

"Thank you so much to everyone for your support and kind words over what was an incredibly exciting, rewarding, challenging, and emotional journey," Chelsie wrote.

Chelsie explained that the kind words of strangers have not gone unnoticed and that Matt showed her 'what it was like to be respected in a relationship and I am so thankful for that.'

"However, it saddens me to say that we are no longer together. I wish him nothing but the best. I’m sorry to those that were invested in our relationship. Please remember to be kind online as you don’t know what is going on behind the screen," she concluded.
