The 20 'Worst' Baby Names Of 2019 (That Parents Actually Gave Their Kids)

Shots have been fired about the 'worst' names parents have given their children this year.

If you're a Game Of Thrones fan, you might want to look away. Website parents.com has just released its list of the 'worst' baby names for 2019 and a character from the popular show is among them.

The website claims only a small handful of parents picked these names for their babies after studying new data, adding that they think this is a 'good thing'.

"Many of our contenders for the worst baby names of 2019 carry more of a negative meaning than some well-meaning parents may realise," the website reads.

You probably haven't heard of most of them but having a unique baby name is clearly still a top priority for a number of expectant parents.

The list includes a number of names spelled creatively, such as Cyncere (Sincere) and Blaykelee (Blakely), as well as names that are offensive to some groups, such as Pansy, which is still used as a slur toward LGBTQ+ people.

Seven baby boys were named Pinches while only one family chose the name Stylez for their newborn son. Not officially on the list, five girls were called Awesome over the past year.
