Prince Harry Breaks Down In Tears When Talking About His Son Archie
He got emotional during a speech at the WellChild Awards.
The Duke of Sussex was giving his address to the audience when he became emotional and began to cry as he spoke about his wife Meghan Markle and the birth of his first child, Archie Harrison Mountbatten Windsor.
Prince Harry, who welcomed Archie in May of this year, said: "Last year when my wife and I attended we knew we were expecting our first child and no one else did at the time, but we did. I remember..."
"Sorry," he paused as he began to cry on reflection.
"I remember squeezing Meghan's hand so tight throughout the awards and both of us were wondering what it would be like to be parents one day."
"And more so, as parents, being here and speaking to all of you, pulls at my heartstrings in a way I could never have understood until I had a child of my own," Prince Harry added.
He was comforted by Gaby Roslin while he reflected on Meghan Markle attending last year's WellChild Awards, which celebrates the inspirational qualities of the UK’s seriously ill children and young people, along with those who take the extra effort to make a difference to their lives.
