Angie Kent On What She Learned From Watching Matt Agnew On 'The Bachelor'

Angie Kent is about to embark on her own love story but as a former Goggleboxer, she's picked up some insights from Matt's journey with Chelsie.

Speaking to 10 daily, Angie said she's both nervous and excited about the premiere of 'The Bachelorette' next Wednesday.

"I haven't spend a lot of time thinking about it, I'm one of those people that likes to stay in the moment," she said.

"Otherwise then you can start creating your own thangs... and that's never healthy for the human mind."

Angie said watching herself appear in ads for the show has caused her to feel more excited than nervous, but she's keen to see what went down with the men while she wasn't around.

"It's like, what are they going to show? What did I say? Oh my God," she said.

And while Angie was in lock down for the first three weeks of Matt Agnew's season of 'The Bachelor', she's still a Goggleboxer at heart and caught up and watched the rest as soon as she was able to.

While doing so, she picked up some insights along the way.

"I feel like there's going to be a lot of stuff I didn't know that happened with the dudes," she said.

"I'm going to see a lot of stuff that I probably wish I saw in the moment and now I only get to see it now because they have all of that time together."

So that's probably one thing where I was like wow.... him [Matt Agnew] watching that, he never would've known what the girls were talking about and that's what's going to happen to me.

Yet Angie said this is the part of 'The Bachelorette' that she's looking forward to seeing the most.

"I want to see their IVs [interviews] and their little boy banter because boys carry on but in a funny way and I love that," she said.

"As long as they're being, you know, respectful to me and women. If they're gross then I'll be a bit mortified. I'll be like, what the hell? What's this all about?"

We can't wait to tune in either to watch it all unfold.

'The Bachelorette Australia' Premieres On Wednesday, 9th October at 7.30pm on 10, 10 play and Win Network.
