Fifi Box Shares Who Was In The Delivery Room With Her During Daisy's Birth

The radio presenter and new mum-of-two has shared beautiful new photos from the birth of her daughter, Daisy Bell Box, and said her mum was right by her side.

On Wednesday, Australian celebrity Fifi Box,42, shared the news she had welcomed her second child, Daisy Box Bell, into the world. And her mum was right beside her through the delivery.

"Couldn't have done this without you mumma," Fifi captioned a photo of her and her mum along with Daisy in her arms after giving birth.

Fifi fell pregnant with her second child through IVF and an anonymous sperm donor and has also talked openly about how much her six-year-old daughter, Trixie, who she shares with ex partner Grant Kenny, supported her through her pregnancy.

The radio host further shared an emotion and raw photo of the moment she first saw her newborn daughter after giving birth. "The moment I met my little Daisy angel," she captioned the image.

Fifi announced the arrival of her daughter on Instagram on Wednesday morning.

"Welcome to the world our beautiful little sweetheart Daisy Belle Box!! And just like that our perfect little family became a whole lot ‘perfecter’," she wrote on Instagram.

"Trixie and I are so hopelessly in love with Daisy, we can’t wait to build our future with her, I am the luckiest mumma to be blessed with these two precious angels."

The announcement came after a difficult pregnancy for the Australian celebrity, explaining last week that she suffered from hyperemsis gravidarum (HG), a pregnancy related condition that can require treatment with IV fluids and anti-nausea medication.

“This is the reality of how I have looked every day for nine months, debilitated by nausea and bedridden,” she wrote along with a collage of selfies of herself looking unwell.

“[HG] is a terribly isolating journey of chronic nausea with no relief. I have felt poisoned every second of this pregnancy, it’s like having gastro every minute, every hour of every day for nine months.

“It is possibly the greatest mental and physical challenge of my life.”
