Palace Celebrates Prince Louis' First Birthday With Three Gorgeous Snaps

It's Prince Louis' first birthday and Kensington Palace is celebrating by sharing three gorgeous snaps of the mini royal.

Prince Louis Arthur Cambridge is officially one year old today but it's us, his loyal subjects, that have received the gift.

This morning we 'unwrapped' three gorgeous brand-new photos of the fifth in line to the throne -- born April 26 in the Lindo Wing of St Mary's Hospital, London -- and we can't handle the cuteness.

In the first snap, Prince William and the Kate Middleton's youngest tot stars quizzically into the camera wearing a blue knitted jumper with a puppy on the front.

Louis -- whose name is pronounced Loo-E not Lou-Is -- light blonde hair is swept tidily to the side and his big blue eyes stare right down the barrel.

His chubby red cheeks are begging to be squished -- and we can't forget the two baby teeth peeking out of his darling mouth.

In the next two pics -- taken by his mum the Duchess of Cambridge herself -- the junior prince swapped out his blue jumper for a red one and is perched on what looks like a mossy log.

Again, Louis is seen showing off his new chompers with a beaming smile, no doubt coaxed out of him by his parents off-camera.

In his third birthday snap, the one-year-old is all action, reaching toward his mum while covered in green moss.

It looks like the cheeky little one enjoys getting down and dirty at his home at Anmer Hall in Norfolk where the Cambridge brood lives.

These happy snaps mark the first time we've seen young Louis since November 2018 when he stole the show in royal family photos taken to celebrate Prince Charles' 70th birthday.

The images were part of a serious of touching shots shared by The Sunday Times Magazine, titled "Grandpa Wales" -- and show Charles as a truly doting grandparent.

But it was baby Louis -- then seven-months-old -- who had everyone smiling with his adorable antics, which included reaching out to grab his grandpa's nose.

Until then we hadn't had the pleasure of seeing the youngster's beaming face since his christening in London on July 9.
