The Palace Has Officially Commented On Those 'Gender Fluid' Baby Rumours
Kensington Palace has taken the unusual step of releasing a statement regarding claims Prince Harry and Meghan Markle plan to raise their child in a gender-neutral way.
In an article for Vanity Fair, royal insider Katie Nicholl claimed the Duchess dropped two bombshells at her recent baby shower.
The first being that she and Harry were having a boy. But it was the second revelation that really got tongues wagging.
According to an unnamed source who was reportedly at the baby shower, Meghan, 37, told her girlfriends that she and Harry are planning to raise a "gender fluid" baby.
The source continued: "She said they plan to raise their child with a fluid approach to gender and they won’t be imposing any stereotypes."
Now, in a statement to Hello!, Kensington Palace has completely denied the claims calling the story "totally false". The palace did not, however, dispute claims Meghan and Harry are expecting a son.
Prince Harry and Meghan announced they were expecting their first during their tour Down Under in October last year.
Meghan is due to give between March and May.
