Duchess Of Cambridge Says Charlotte Eats Very Grown-Up Snacks
William and Kate's three year old daughter loves a few surprising things in her lunchbox.
Most three-year-olds are content with spag bol and some cheezels, but it appears three-year-old Princess Charlotte has slightly more refined taste when it comes to snacks. The girl loves herself some olives.
And why wouldn't she? She lives in a palace and has servants. Goes with the territory.
The Duchess of Cambridge visited pupils at Lavender Primary School for Children's Mental Health Week, where she showed off a family photo during "Show and Tell" and revealed that her second child loves nothing more than munching on some olives as a snack.
"Charlotte loves olives," she said, and told the children that she frequently gets her two eldest children to cook with her -- including their favourite pasta dish.
Take that, servants!
Matthew Kleiner-Mann, chief executive of the the Ivy Learning Trust, said, ‘She was telling us how much her children love cooking and how they cook for her. They made cheesy pasta the other day."
One stirs the flour, one puts the milk and butter in, and they make salads and stuff. Food is important to her and she understands the links between mental health and physical exercise.'
It seems that the two little royals are quite the home cooks. Last year, the Duchess of Cambridge opened up about their love of playing with pizza dough. “They love it because they can get their hands messy,” she said.
The Duchess was talking to the school about mental health and wellbeing, including food habits and fitness, as part of Children's Mental Health Week.
