Harry And Meghan Are Moving Into A Ridiculously Quaint Cottage
Harry and Meghan are moving to new digs ahead of the birth of their first child.
And while they're technically moving into a 'cottage', it's certainly the most luxurious cottage we've ever laid eyes on.
Kensington Palace released a statement today announcing the royals will be moving to Frogmore Cottage on the grounds of Windsor Estate -- a very sentimental location for Harry and Meghan.
"Windsor is a very special place for Their Royal Highnesses and they are grateful that their official residence will be on the estate," the statement reads.
As you may well remember, Haz and Megs got married at Windsor Castle and then held their evening reception at Frogmore House -- so they'll be able to relive their fairytale wedding every damn day.
Frogmore Cottage is just a skip and a jump across the royal pond from Frogmore House on the Windsor grounds and while it isn't as grand, it does have a few perks of its own.
According to the Sun, the building is undergoing major building work and the reno will turn Frogmore Cottage into a "luxury family home, boasting 10 bedrooms & a new nursery plus space for a gym and yoga studio".
"Currently it's been chopped up into five units where palace staff have been living. Harry, Meghan and baby Sussex hope to move in next year," the Sun explained.
And while the Duke and Duchess could have opted for a much bigger home in Kensington Palace right next to Kate and Wills -- it seems they'd much rather rough it in the cottage as they become parents for the first time.
The best part is, they didn't need to battle it out at auction or take out a massive mortgage like many newlyweds their age -- because the cottage is a gift from Harry's grandma, Queen Elizabeth!
