After greeting a number of fans gathered outside the café, Megz and Haz then ventured inside where they enjoyed a cuppa while chatting about all the important work it was doing to help those dealing with mental illness.

According to royal reporter Omid Scobie, once their meeting was over Meghan asked the café to make sure the cakes -- which had been laid out for them -- were not wasted and , instead, handed out the a group of local school children waiting outside.

According to Emily Andrews, who's a royal reporter for The Sun, the children were thrilled with the surprise.

Meghan kept her look relatively simple during the official engagement, teaming a pair of Outland Jeans (which she's worn before) with a Jac + Jack blouse and a Club Monaco coat.

The night before she glammed it up in a wool blend black Gabriela Hearst dress, which she had altered, swapping the original piece's thin spaghetti straps for cap sleeves.
