Meghan Markle Sent Thank You Cards After Her Birthday
Now people are complaining on Twitter they've not had a reply for their wedding cards...
Meghan Markle is becoming a good royal, faster than we thought she would. Her latest royal act? Sending out thank you cards to the people who wished her a happy birthday last month.
On Tuesday, US royal commentator Omid Scobie shared a photo on Twitter of the postcards that the Duchess of Sussex reportedly sent to her wellwishers. And it's very cute.
The card features a photo of Meghan greeting an excited group of fans during a royal engagement with hubby Prince Harry, who can be seen standing next to her. The cards were reportedly all sent just over a month after Meghan's 37th birthday, on August 4 and show how concerned she and the palace were about getting them out on time.
Which got Twitter in a spin about thank you cards from the royals.
You see, some people still haven't received thank you notes for cards they sent congratulating Harry and Meghan on their marriage.
One devout monarchist replied that he had received his thank you note at the end of July -- suggesting there maybe a backlog of thank yous to get through.
Turns out there is stiff competition to be the fastest royal replier -- with a surprising champ at the game being... the Queen's cousin, Prince Michael Of Kent.
No word on whether there is actually a backlog preventing Meghan from finishing the wedding cards, but if you want to send something along for her and Haz, the address they recommend is:
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex, Clarence House, London, SW1A 1BA UNITED KINGDOM.
