Oops! Princess Beatrice's Private Instagram Was Just Revealed

Her rather famous friend is responsible.

One of Princess Beatrice's A-list pals may have landed the 29-year-old royal in a bit of strife, and it's all over a secret social media account.

Bea's pal and newly engaged model Karlie Kloss seemingly revealed the princess' private Instagram account, @beayork, in her own Insta story on July 25. Oops!

Surprise! Image: Instagram/@karliekloss.

The clearly excited Karlie had taken to Instagram to share pics of her face-time conversations with her friends and family -- including her mum, sisters and famous friend Serena Williams -- as she showed off her massive sparkler from beau Joshua Kushner.

One of the snaps included a screenshot of the Victoria's Secret Angel's convo with long-time pal Beatrice, who looked super surprised but super happy about her buddy's big news.

But in her post-engagement bliss, Karlie must've accidentally included the royal's private Insta handle in the pic, which she shared with her some 7.5 million followers. Double oops.

How cute is the princess' profile pic, btw? Image: Instagram/@beayork.

From what we can see, Bea's followers include her mum, Sarah Ferguson, Prince Harry’s ex-girlfriend, Chelsy Davy, and Brit model Cara Delevigne. The 1,021 people she follows is however set to private so we can only speculate. Oh, to know the truth!

Look, Karlie shouldn't feel too bad about blowing Princess Beatrice's social media cover. It's not like it's against the royal rules for her to have an Instagram account, anyway.

As the daughter of Sarah Ferguson and Prince Andrew -- that's the Queen's second son -- Bea isn't a 'working royal' like her cousins Princes William and Harry. Quite the opposite: Beatrice has a normal-sounding job as a strategist for a US technology firm.

That's not to say Bea lives a hum-drum existence. There are still the ritzy holidays, private jets, exxy wardrobes and famous friends you'd expect of the eighth in line to the British throne.

She also attends a lot of royal events, but unlike Haz, Will and co. she doesn't have to make that a full time job.

'Cause she's not technically part of the public-facing monarchy, Bea has a lot more freedom, and things like Instagram accounts are deemed okay. That's not the case with her new relative Meghan Markle, who had to delete all social media before tying the knot with Harry.

Little sister and bride-to-be Eugenie, 28, also has an Insta presence, and even though she's the only British royal to do so it's clearly all above board. All her snaps are visible to the public, and she's got the blue verified tick to boot. Great news for us as we'll (hopefully) get an inside look at her upcoming wedding to Jack Brooksbank in October.

Here's hoping that now the cat is out of the Instagram bag so to speak, Beatrice might follow her little sis and make her account public. After all, the lure of a blue tick -- and thousands of followers -- is pretty tempting. Go on, Bea!
