Did you know that to unclog a drain you simply need a couple of Alka-Seltzer tablets and a cup of white vinegar?
Yep, throw those things down the drain to unclog and clean it, follow up with some hot water and all your drain woes (and the associated bad smells) will be long gone.
Or how about this clever cleaning hack? If you want to clean your dirty sponge, you can wet it and then pop it in the microwave for two minutes.
Remember, make sure to microwave only sponges or plastic scrubbers that do not contain steel or other metals, and make sure the sponge or scrubber is wet, not dry.

Use lemons in more than your G&T
You can also use it as a bathroom cleanerLemons have a mild bleaching property. They can remove stains on sinks as well as tackle soap scum. The acid in lemon is very effective in removing soap scum build-up. Use neat lemon juice and pour over the soap scum. Leave it for a few hours to do its work and then dry with a clean cloth. Rub half a lemon over the taps, rinse off and wipe with a clean cloth.
For underarm stains on white clothesMix together a portion of half lemon juice and half water, scrub the sweat stain gently with a clean toothbrush and lemon water mix to remove the stains. You can also add some baking soda for some extra punch.
To clean your toilet bowlBaking soda, lemon juice and vinegar are perfect to replace harsh toilet cleaners. Add half a cup baking soda, half a cup vinegar and 1/4 cup lemon juice in the toilet, scrub with a brush and voila!

Place a dishwasher safe cup on the top rack full of vinegar and run the hottest cycle. Do this every six months to keep the dishwasher clean and fresh.
