And then all the bad habits creep back in, right? After all, giving up drinking, eating less, eating more, eating right, exercising more, stressing less, having more water, taking time out and breathing all takes way too long and it's all way too involved to be habits you can lock into long term.

So what if we told you there is just one thing you should do that will help you stay healthy?

"I would strongly recommend people consume prebiotic rich foods or a prebiotic supplement at least once per day to support both their gut health, immune system and mental wellbeing. We know meditation everyday is so good for us but for those who struggle to switch off in stillness (most of us) can gain a lot from a short walk around the block whilst breathing naturally to find mental clarity."

Try to think less about the stats and how long you’ve walking for but more how many walks you’ve been on that day. Try and add in extra walks whenever you get the chance to beat your pervious days score. Soon you’ll be a noticeably happier and healthier version of yourself and maybe even car free!"

"Get more sunlight" says Olivia Arezzolo, Sleep Specialist

"Correcting our circadian rhythm (body clock), morning sunlight is fundamental for our mental and physical health. Academic journal Environmental Health Perspective reports 10-15 minutes of sunlight natural increases physical energy and mental alertness. Further, serotonin, one of our happiness hormones, is also produced by the body via natural light. Morning sunlight is also a key factor in the synthesis of vitamin D, a micronutrient largely responsible for strong bones, preventing osteoporosis and immune function."
